Bruce Pang is the Head of Research and Chief Economist for Greater China at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he leads a team of over 50 researchers to deliver comprehensive market intelligence and strategic insights across the property sector. He is also a member of the company’s Global Research Leadership Team and regularly provides macroeconomic analysis and market dynamics to clients and media outlets.
Previously, Bruce was the Head of Macro and Strategy Research at China Renaissance, where he developed forward-looking investment strategies and published influential reports on topics like China’s market reform and ESG. He also served as an equity strategist and Head of China Support Center at HSBC Global Research, ranking in the top three in Asiamoney’s Brokers Poll 2018.
Bruce holds a PhD in Economics from The University of Hong Kong, a Master’s in Sociology from the University of Chicago, and a master’s in economics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is an adjunct professor at several prestigious universities and frequently contributes to major global media platforms like Bloomberg, Reuters, and CNBC.
