Hongchuan LIU (Executive partner of AnJie Broad Law Firm, one of the leading Chinese lawyers in the areas of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), M&A, Private Equity and Capital Markets. )

He is one executive partner of AnJie Broad Law firm, a member of the Harvard Law School Leadership Council. He also acts as an independent director for three public companies: Hubei Huaqiang High-Tech Co., Ltd. (华强科技688151.SH), Beijing Emerging Eastern Aviation Equipment Co.,Ltd. (新兴装备002933.SZ), Baoding Lucky Innovative Materials Co., Ltd. (乐凯新材300446.SZ). Mr. Liu graduated from Peking University School of Law and Harvard Law Schoo. He had worked at Clifford Chance’s London and Hong Kong offices, Skadden Arps’ Beijing Office.

Through more than thirty years of his legal career, Mr. Liu has advised a large number of well-known international enterprises on their FDI, M&A and general corporate matters in China. He has National Bar of China, State Bar of New York. He is also an arbitrator of CIETAC (China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission), SCIA (Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration), Nanjing Arbitration Commission/ Jiangsu (Nanjing) International Commercial Arbitration Centre.

Mr. Liu was awarded as a China Leading Lawyer in Capital Markets, M & A and Private Equity fields by Asialaw Profiles, IFLR1000 (International Finance Law Review), The Legal 500, LEGALBAND, China Business Law Journal and China Law & Practice consecutively from 2014 to 2024.
