Susan Zhu holds an MSc in Marketing from Durham University and is a distinguished research fellow at Fudan University’s Sustainable Development Research Center. She is also the Deputy Secretary General of the Carbon Neutrality Committee of China Energy Conservation Association, Vice President of Greater Bay Area Carbon Neutrality Association, Vice President of International Green Economy Association, Carbon Management System Assessor, and Carbon Emissions Credit Allowance Trader.

Ms. Zhu has been instrumental in establishing a comprehensive industrial chain encompassing carbon asset development and management, strategy consulting, decarbonization capacity building, carbon trading, and carbon finance. She is one of the pioneering entrepreneurs in China’s carbon trading sector and has been honored with several titles in the dual-carbon industry.

Ms. Zhu’s contributions have earned her invitations to prestigious international conferences such as the Davos World Economic Forum in 2013 and the Global Climate Change Conference in 2017 and 2018. She has also delivered speeches as a representative of Chinese low-carbon industry entrepreneurs.

In recent years, Treasure Carbon has undertaken the formulation of emission reduction standards for United Nations Development Program (UNDP) hydrogen fuel cells vehicles and hydrogen fuel cells cogeneration; participated in the research and report preparation of the UNDP’s “Sustainable Development Strategy of Zhouqu County in Gansu Province”; Prepared Changzhou City carbon emissions peak roadmap and implementation path research report, Inner Mongolia Wushen County low-carbon development plan.
