CCG President participates in Science | Business annual conference

On February 23rd, Dr. Wang Huiyao, president of the Center for China and Globalization participated in a virtual conference entitled “R&I in recovery: What can Horizon Europe deliver?” and more specifically in the “Global Challenges III : Will competition or cooperation define the future of science and technology?” session. This session featured the launch and discussion of a new Science|Business Declaration calling for a rethink on how we draw the difficult lines between protected and open innovation for the benefit of humanity. This conference was an annual event organized by Science|Business Network, a forum which brings together leading organizations from the worlds of industry, research, innovation and policy making, both at EU and national levels.
Participants at this event also included Gail Cardew, senior advisor of Science|Business, Stefan Kaufmann, member of Deutscher Bundestag and Remi Quirion, chief scientist of Québec.
