Once again, the U.S. is targeting China. As of June 1, entry bans have been slapped on an estimated 3,000 Chinese #students and researchers, who the White House accuses of engaging in intellectual property theft. Meanwhile, the U.S. is also making it difficult for China to arrange charter flights to fly its stranded citizens home. How will the new restrictions affect Chinese students already studying in the U.S.? Will U.S. universities become less attractive to Chinese students? Will the ban affect ongoing research projects? Who stands to lose the most, and how should China respond?
