LENG Yan is Executive Vice President of Mercedes-Benz Group China, responsible for corporate external affairs and public policy in China; he also serves on behalf of Daimler as board member of BAIC Bluepark New Energy Technology Co. Ltd., the first publicly listed China domestic new energy vehicle company. Previous to joining Daimler, Mr. Leng worked as Vice President of TOTAL China, in charge of government affairs, public relations, communication and industry strategy. Prior to that, he has served in senior business management positions in global leading multinational companies such as general manager of construction industry at BASF and chief representative /country manager China at HOCHTIEF. Mr. Leng completed his undergraduate study in Karls-Reprecht University of Heidelberg with a Master degree. He also earned his EMBA degree from China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Since 2020, Mr. Leng serves as elected board member of German Chamber of Commerce and China’s Sino German Friendship Association as well.
