China Update Green Card to attract global talents
April 20 , 2017The past 30 years witnessed a fast expansion of foreigners coming to live in this country. Yet those who hold the Chinese green cards make up a very small part of the group. Obtaining a Chinese green card for a non-Chinese is more difficult compare to a Chinese national get a green card in many other countries. Now, China planning to change it!
According to UN, few than 10,000 foreigners have a green card, in contrast, US issued more than 1,000,000 green cards each year. In 2016, China join the IOM (International Organization for Migration), among that shows China’s determination to attrct global talents.
Lately, China had upgrade its green held by foreign residents, then embedded it with chip that allowed the holders to buy train and flight tickets online, and jion a social assurance.
