Rao Yi, President of Capital Medical University.

Rao Yi (born 1962) is a Chinese neurobiologist. A graduate of Shanghai Medical University and the University of California, San Francisco, Rao held a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University and went on to join the faculty of Washington University in St. Louis and Northwestern University before moving back to China to take up his role as dean of Peking University’s School of Life Sciences in 2007. On June 25, 2019, Professor Rao was appointed president of Capital Medical University.
